Priority registration phases for .asia domain names

Sunrise Phase 2 Registered Marks ( deadline 29 Oct 2007 )

1. Well established and registered marks ( trademarks or service marks ) applied before March 16, 2004, that are valid and issued.
   
   
2. General Registered Marks applied before December 6, 2006, that are valid and issued.

Sunrise Phase 3 Entity Names ( deadline 14 Jan 2008 )

Registered companies and organisations located in Asia may register their corresponding entity name

Landrush Phase ( begins February 2008 )

Open for a registrant located in Asia. Foreign registrants may apply by appointing Adicio as the Asian contact ( to meet the Charter Eligibility criteria )

General Conditions

1. Only alphabets or combination of alphabets, numbers and hyphen are allowed. Pure numerals are not accepted.
   
   
2. Sunrise Phase : Domain name must match the words in the registered mark or entity name
   
   
3. Auctions will be held by dot Asia registry where more than 1 valid application for a domain name is received. Auction fees are to be paid separately to dot Asia Registry.
   
   
4. Pre-registration fees for Sunrise and LandRush phases are not refundable.
   
   
5. Foreign registrants without Asian contacts will appoint Adicio ( Adicio Billing ) as Charter Eligibility Declaration ( CED ) Contact.
   
   

Here are the tips and suggested actions to take in preparation for your .ASIA application

1. Search your company’s portfolio of Registered marks
   
   
2. Ascertain the list of entity names for which domains are to be registered
   
   
3. Record the owner entity to which the domains are to be registered
   
   
4. Submit your Queue orders online at www.Adicio.net
   
   
5. Prepare electronic versions of documents for vetting, should they be requested for.
